Revealed in the middle Makkan period, Surah Ya-Sin is widely celebrated as the 'Heart of the Quran,' focusing intensely on the core tenets of Islamic belief: the authenticity of the Prophet's mission, the reality of resurrection, and the absolute sovereignty of God. It recounts the parable of the companions of the city who rejected three divine messengers, resulting in their sudden destruction. The chapter points to the natural world—the dead land brought to life with vegetation, the alternation of day and night, and the orbits of the sun and moon—as clear signs of the Creator's power. It culminates in a vivid depiction of resurrection, where human bodies will rise, their hands will speak, and their feet will bear witness to their deeds.
