Revealed in Makkah, Surah Al-Haqqah (The Reality) depicts the terrifying inevitability of the Day of Judgment. It details the destruction of past nations like Thamud, 'Ad, and Pharaoh who rejected the warnings. The chapter describes the separation of humanity: those given their record in their right hand will enter Paradise, while those given their record in their left hand will face Hell, wishing they had never been resurrected.
