Revealed in the late Makkan period, Surah Sad focuses on the struggle between truth and falsehood, comforting the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) against the stubborn rejection of the Quraysh. It highlights the stories of David and Solomon, showcasing how they remained humble, repentant servants of God despite their extraordinary worldly power. The chapter also details the severe trials and illness of Prophet Job (Ayyub) and his beautiful patience, demonstrating that relief always follows devotion. It concludes with the cosmic narrative of the creation of Adam and the expulsion of Iblis (Satan) due to his pride, warning humanity that arrogance is the root of all deviation.
